Burger Sunday

ALERT! Burger craving!!

Sunday's are a tough day to stay on track with eating and cooking at home. As I scroll through Instagram and Facebook you see all my friends indulgent brunches and juicy burgers and I have to admit, I am tempted to take a cheat day and grab myself a burger and fries, but I resist! Instead I reached for my organic chicken burgers and decided to make myself a healthy burger. Best part is, this meal was prepped and ready in under 20 minutes!


1 Earth's Pride Organic Chicken Burger

100% Wheat Pita

1/4 cup of Chopped romaine or greens of choice

Grilled Onion and Pineapple

2 tbsp dark honey

1 tsp olive oil

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

1 tsp cinnamon

4 slices of pineapple

1/4 cup thin cut onion (or however much onion desired on sandwich)


Cut your pineapple, onion, and romaine and set aside. Place frozen chicken burger on frying pan with olive oil and cook for 7 minutes on each side. Mix honey, olive oil, lime juice and cinnamon in small bowl. Place pineapple and onion in bowl and cover with marinade. Place on frying pan and cook until browned on each side. Cut your Pita in half and stuff with chicken, pineapples, onion and romaine and ENJOY!
